Music and Wine Evening

"Beauty and the Beast”

Domaine Chandon de Briailles

An exclusive Music and Wine evening

The Hill of Corton, that mythical place, is also known by the name of Woods of Corton.

Nestled at its feet are red and white Grands Crus, such as Corton or Corton-Charlemagne.

The wooded hilltop looks down over the village of Aloxe-Corton and its soil at the bottom of the slope is reddish, iron-rich and reputedly better for reds, such as the unique red Grand Cru of the Côte de Beaune, "Le Corton”. Guy de Maupassant, in his "Bel Ami” qualified it the king of good living.

The dry hilltop soil, on limestone sub-soil, is home to the famous white Corton-Charlemagne.
